Emili Rousaud who is among Barcelona's presidential candidate has stated emphatically that he is planning to lure Brazil international Neymar back to the club if elected as president.
Barcelona's presidential election is on the way with all the candidates who are looking for the position making some statements that could help them get elected.
Bartomeu who recently resigned as the president of the Catalans has to because of the club's unimpressive performances last season in all competitions.
Barcelona failed to retain their Spanish La Liga title and they also suffered an embarrassing defeat against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.
The club's chiefs were also forced to send coach Setien out of the Nou Camp and they appointed Ronald Koeman as the new manager.
Neymar left Spanish side Barcelona in 2017 for a big move to Paris-Saint-Germain after playing 123 games for the Catalans netting 68 goals.
He also won two Spanish La Liga titles with Barcelona and the Champions League before he left.
According to the report on Mirror UK, Emili Rousaud explained that he would try his best to bring Neymar back to Barcelona.
"We will sign two top players, one of them is Neymar. We are working to bring him back to Barcelona if he withdraws the demands he has against the club.
"We hope to be able to announce shortly the name of the other franchise player that we want to bring. It will not leave anyone indifferent. We have a direct line with the player."

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Neymar who is a Brazilian footballer is reportedly ready to commit his future to reign French champions Paris-Saint-Germain where he has been playing for the past three seasons.
There have been reports that the forward could make a return to Spanish giants Barcelona where he actually made his name in football before moving to France.
Neymar left Barcelona with reports claiming then that he was tired of playing second fiddle to Lionel Messi who is the captain of the Catalans.
But since he got to Paris-Saint-Germain, Neymar has not been able to find his superb form, no thanks to injuries.
