Sergio Ramos who is the current captain of Spanish champions Real Madrid has been tipped for a move to Premier League side Manchester United by former striker Dimitar Berbatov.
The 39-year-old who is regarded as one of the greatest Bulgarian players of all-time explained that Manchester United would be a perfect destination for Sergio Ramos if he should decide to leave Santiago Bernabeu.
Ramos who has been playing for Los Blancos since 2005 is yet to agree to a new contract with the club fueling speculation that he could be leaving next summer.
According to the report on UK Sun, Dimitar Berbatov who won two Premier League titles at Manchester United stated clearly that Sergio Ramos can still prove himself at Old Trafford.
"I'm sure if Ramos wanted to move to a club like United then it would work out well for him too. He's in great shape, he's still a world class defender and in my opinion there's still a lot of football left in him."
Since he joined Real Madrid from Sevilla in 2005, Sergio Ramos has played 462 games so far for Los Blancos scoring 72 goals.
The Spain international has also won the Spanish La Liga titles five times with Real Madrid and four Champions League titles.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how French club Paris Saint Germain are on the trail of Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos as latest reports have it that the Parisians are prepared to offer the player whatever he wants.
The 34-year-old is reportedly interested in a fresh two-year extension of his deal, but Los Blancos are not prepared to change their one-year extension for over-30s policy.
According to French outlet AS and cited in SunSport, PSG are now interested and they are ready to offer the experienced player a two-year deal.
The report further stated that PSG manager Leonardo has now identified Ramos as the club’s major target for January, but they will only hope Ramos decides to end his 15-year reign with the Spanish champions.
