Facundo Pellistri made it just in time to complete a five-year move to Manchester United in a deal worth €8.50 million before the transfer window closed on Monday, October.
The 18-year-old forward joined the Red Devils from Atletico Penarol with an option to extend for a further year.
Pellistri became Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's third signing on transfer deadline day after Alex Telles and Edinson Cavani.
The Norwegian-born tactician had to settle for the teenager after failing to land either of Jadon Sancho from Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona's Ousmane Dembele.
