Farid El Malali was reportedly arrested by the French police for allegedly masturbating in public, reports from Daily Star.

According to French news media outlet Ouest-France, the Ligue 1 star who plies his trade with Anger was questioned by local police following a second indecent exposure complaint in a matter of weeks.

The Algerian star will now face a court hearing later in the summer after he was previously nabbed by the police for masturbating in public.

“Farid El Melali was heard by the police about acts committed during the recent period of confinement, which he acknowledged.

“Once again Farid El Melali answered the questions asked and all the necessary checks could therefore be made, so that his hearing was quickly closed.

“He renews his sincerest apologies to the women he may have upset with inappropriate attitudes,” El Melali's lawyer, Sandra Chirac Kollarik, told Ouest-France.

According to the law in France, the Algerian footballer Farid El Melali risks receiving a one-year prison sentence and a €15,000 (£13,480) fine.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Lazio defender Patric has been slapped with a four-game ban after he bit his opponent during a tense Serie A match.

The defender lost his head to plant his teeth on Lecce's Giulio Donati during their league match on Tuesday, July 7.

The ugly incident saw Patric sent off at stoppage time as his side went on to lose 2-1 to the relegation-threatened side Lecce.

Legit.ng also reported that Henrique has miraculously survived after he fell 200 meters off a cliff while in his Land Rover.

The Cruzeiro midfielder was identified is said to have been rushed to hospital after the fall but had no fractures.
