Jude Bellingham: Ferguson holds transfer talks with wonderkid wanted by Man United

- Jude Bellingham could be a Man United player next season from championship side Birmingham

- Sir Alex Ferguson is playing a central role in the transfer of the youngster to Old Trafford

- Bellingham has been in fine form for the Blues, courting interest from several top clubs

Man United have roped in Sir Alex Ferguson to help the club in their attempt to land Birmingham City wonderkid Jude Bellingham.

United are understood to be on course to land the services of Bellingham after his club allowed the Red Devils to hold talks with him.

According to Mirror UK, the youngster, who has taken the Championship by storm this season has already been to United's Carrington training complex where his parents discussed his potential move to the Red Devils.

The player was in the company of his parents at the time of the meeting which also involved United's executive vice-chair Ed Woodward, transfer negotiator, Matt Judge, and Ferguson.

The Old Trafford dwellers have been monitoring Bellingham for some time now and were keen on signing him in January but the Blues refused to sell.

But after consideration, the Championship club has resolved to cash in on the promising footballer and United appear his likeliest next destination.

Bellingham has been in fine form for Bermingham and recently emerged the club's youngest ever goalscorer.

His exploits at St. Andrew's have seen him court interest from several other clubs including Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
