Ademola Lookman reportedly wants to dump England for Super Eagles of Nigeria
Ademola Lookman who currently plays for German giants RB Leipzig as a striker has reportedly decided to dump England and play for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
This latest development will be a great news for the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) and also Super Eagles gaffer Gernot Rohr who has been monitoring Lookman's progress.
Lookman has played for the England Under 19, 20, and 21 side, and he is now said to have decided not to play for the Three Lions as he wants to wear the Super Eagles jersey.
In 2017, Ademola Lookman was among the England players who won the Under 20 World Cup, and the Nigeria Football Federation have been tracking him since then.

There were even reports that Nigeria Football Federation president Amaju Pinnick traveled to England many times to talk with Ademola Lookman in effort to convince him to shift allegiance.
That was when the 22-year-old was playing for Premier League side Everton.
According to the report by AOIFootball, Ademola Lookman wants to be part of the Super Eagles squad that will play at the 2021 African Cup of Nations if chosen by the selectors.
The report added that he is only waiting for FIFA clearance before he can swap nationality for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
''Lookman has applied for switch and all documents are in order.
"It’s a positive step forward when made his commitment to Nigeria and we are just waiting for a FIFA clearance.
“Once the go-ahead is sorted, it will be up to coach Gernot Rohr to decide if his club performance would earn him a call up,'' Tunde Adelakun who is one of Gernot Rohr's assistants explained.
Meanwhile, Ademola Lookman has not gotten his rhythm this season for RB Leipzig since rejoining from Everton and has only played four games this term.
Premier League Newcastle have been linked with Ademola Lookman, and he could be making a return to the English topflight.
Recently, Chelsea's duo of Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori picked England despite all efforts by the Nigeria Football Federation for them to play for Super Eagles.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Fikayo Tomori eventually ended speculation linking him to Nigeria after the Chelsea sensation made his national senior team debut for Gareth Southgate's England team against Kosovo.
The 21-year-old becomes a full-blown international on Sunday, November 17, during the competitive Euro 2020 qualifier encounter.
