- Manchester United will face Colchester after their heroic performance against Chelsea

- All favorites to win the competition avoided each other in the quarterfinal

Carabao Cup semifinal will be action-packed after all favourites for the title have avoided each other in the quarterfinal.

The quarterfinal draw was released on Thursday, October 31, with five-time winners Manchester United set to face League Two side Colchester United on December 16.

Quite notably, Colchester might not be a pushover as plaudits would imagine as they have already knocked out two Premier League sides – Tottenham and Crystal Palace en route to the quarters.

United’s rivals Manchester City have been drawn against League One side Oxford FC; while an all-Premier League quarterfinal fixture will see Everton face in-form Leicester City with Iwobi set to come up against his Nigerian brothers - Ndidi and Iheanacho.
