Portugal striker Cristiano Ronaldo has stated that Manchester United players will continue to fight for the club until they achieve their dreams, Man Utd.com reports.
The Red Devils started life after the exit of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer with a 2-0 victory against Villarreal on Tuesday night, November 24, courtesy of goals from Cristiano Ronaldo and Jadon Sancho.
The win means United, which parted with manager Solskjaer at the weekend after a poor string of results, qualifies for the knockout stages of the Champions League.

Michael Carrick saw his side burst into life towards the end of the second half, the two goals ensured United reach the Champions League last 16 with a game to spare.

After the game, Ronaldo said:

Meanwhile, Barcelona legend and Paris Saint-Germain star Lionel Messi has shared his thoughts about fierce rival Cristiano Ronaldo who returned to former club Manchester United.
The Portuguese sensation who returned to the Old Trafford club on transfer window deadline day is under intense pressure following the sack of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Messi and Ronaldo both made blockbuster moves during the summer, with the Argentine leaving Spanish club Barcelona to French side PSG, while the latter returned to Old Trafford.
Both players have had mixed starts at their respective clubs as Ronaldo has scored nine goals in 11 matches for the Red Devils so far, while Messi has scored just two goals for the French club.
And Messi stated that Ronaldo already knew Manchester United and has adapted in an impressive way.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has reacted to the sacking of his opposite other, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer at Old Trafford.
Guardiola claimed it was a pleasure to come up against the sacked Man United boss as he expressed his sympathy with the Norwegian.
The Spaniard further took time to reflect on his encounters with Solskjaer, admitting the ex-United manager often got the better of him.
