Manchester United star Donny van de Beek has been ruled out of Holland's campaign for the EURO 2020 championship due to the injury he suffered in heartbreaking moment.
Holland's coaching crew have been hoping that Donny van de Beek would recover in time for the tournament, but it has now been confirmed that the former Ajax star will not be available.
According to the report on Independent and GOAL, Frank De Boer who is the coach of the Holland national team has made it clear that he won't call any replacement for injured Donny van de Beek.
Netherlands are in Group C for the EURO 2020 and they will kickoff their campaign in the championship on Sunday, June 13, against Ukraine before other two games with Austria and North Macedonia.
Joining Manchester United last summer from Ajax, expectation was high for Donny to perform at Old Trafford, but he failed to hold down a regular place under Ole Solskjaer.
Last season, he made 36 appearances for Manchester United in all competitions and was able to make only 4 starts in the Premier League.
