Tuchel is expected to make a number of signings as he looks to challenge for more titles next season.

This window will be the German's first since taking over from Frank Lampard at the end of January 2021.

According to Metro UK, Chelsea will hand the former PSG boss £200million to spend on signings of his choice.

The Blues had spent around £220m under Lampard last summer which was largely due to the fact the club was fresh from a transfer embargo.

However, Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is said to be seeing an opportunity in backing Tuchel following his side's recent triumph in the Champions League.

The two are understood to have met shortly after the west London club were crowned European champions in Porto following their 1-0 win over Man City in the final.

During the meeting, Abramovich reportedly committed to supporting Tuchel's transfer plans as they look to build on the recent success.

The German manager is now thought to be keen on signing Inter Milan striker Romelu Lukaku to solve his side's goal-scoring challenges.

Tuchel is also keen on making additions to his midfield department and has identified West Ham United ace Declan Rice for the role.

Perhaps the most surprising target on Tuchel's wishlist is Wolves star Adama Traore, with reports suggesting the winger is wanted to provide competition for Reece James at right-wing back.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Saturday night's Champions League final triumph presented Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel the opportunity to meet the club owner Roman Abramovich for the first time.

According to Tuchel, winning his first Champions League title with Chelsea has made him want a new deal at Stamford Bridge.

The German tactician says he spoke to Roman Abramovich briefly on the pitch after the game as he thinks it was the best moment for the first meeting.

Chelsea owner Abamovich was at the Estadio do Dragao stadium in Porto to catch his team win their second Champions League title.
