Manchester United who are Premier League giants are reportedly interested in resigning Portugal international Cristiano Ronaldo and are even ready to offer Paul Pogba plus cash to Juventus.

After Juventus failure to win the Champions League and Serie A title at the just concluded season, there have been talks over the future of Cristiano Ronaldo at the club.

Between the year 2003-2009, Cristiano Ronaldo won three Premier League titles at Manchester United before he completed then world record move to Real Madrid.

At the Santiago Bernabeu, Cristiano Ronaldo recorded his name in gold as he helped Real Madrid to win many titles before moving to Juventus.

Juventus signed Cristiano Ronaldo with the aim of them winning the Champions League title, but they have not succeeded in their pursuit ever since the Portuguese arrived.

According to the report on UK Sun, Manchester United chiefs want Cristiano Ronaldo to make return to Old Trafford, but his big wages would be a problem for the Old Trafford side.

Pogba on the other hand enjoyed success at Juventus between 2012 and 2016, four Serie A titles and two Italian Cups.

Both players have struggled at their current clubs, with Ronaldo failing to win Serie A this season and Pogba not lifting domestic silverware since 2017.

Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Five-time Champions League winner Cristiano Ronaldo has described Sir Alex Ferguson as his 'great friend'.

The 36-year-old played under the legendary manager for six years after joining Manchester United from Sporting CP in 2003.

He departed for Real Madrid in 2019 having won his first UCL title as well as his first Ballon d'Or awards at Old Trafford.

However, the relationship between these two remains as the current Juventus winger took to his Instagram page to promote the new documentary capturing the life and time of the Scot.

Apart from their manager-player relationship, Ronaldo also considers Ferguson a father figure after playing a huge role in his career while growing up.

During his six-year reign at Old Trafford, Ronaldo scored 118 goals in 292 appearances in all competitions - winning three Premier League titles, one FA Cup, and the 2008 Champions League trophy.
