Zinedine Zidane has stepped down as the head coach of Real Madrid for the second time after failing to help them win any title in the recently concluded season.
The Frenchman puts a dent on his records after failing to win any trophy for Los Blancos in the 2020-21 campaign - the first time they have won no trophy in over a decade.
This is however the reason the 48-year-old parted ways with the Spanish League giants according to football journalist Fabrizio Romano and was quoted by Marca.

Although Real fought till the very last matchday for the title, however, Atletico Madrid were the eventual champions after both clubs won their respective games as reported by The Mirror.
Sources claim Zidane had no problem leaving the Bernabeu outfit having being linked with a move away from them all through the season owing to their struggles in all competitions.
