Real Madrid Beat Barcelona, PSG, Others to Rank Most Valuable Brand in the World for the 3rd Straight Year

- This however contributes to them staying at the zenith of the table for the third straight time

Spanish League giants Real Madrid have been named the most valuable football club brand in the world for the third consecutive year.
This is according to the Football 50 2021 report published by Brand Finance earlier this week with the value of $1.49b (€1,276m).
Los Blancos beat their arch-rivals Barcelona to the new record as the Catalans are second on the list with the value of about $1.48b (€1,266m).

Meanwhile, Manchester United, Manchester City, and Bayern Munich complete the top five clubs on the most valuable club brands in the world with $1.32b (€1,130m), $1.31b (€1,118m), and $1.25b (€1,068m) respectively.
Marca reports that Real's constant participation in the Champions League contributes to their brand's value in the world. The Brand Finance's report says:
"[Real Madrid] have been able to consistently assure Champions League qualification year after year. This constant income flow and the status of the Champions League have played a central role in the general success of the club."

Meanwhile, the Galacticos will hope they can win the La Liga title against this season with Atletico Madrid gapping them by two points ahead of the last game of the season.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Zinedine Zidane has distanced himself from the reports linking him to an exit from Real Madrid this summer.
