Eric Cantona who was known for his no nonsense attitude in England during his active playing time has been named in the Premier League Hall of Fame in an incredible achievement.
The former France international made his ways into the list following votes by fans who considered him worthy enough to be in the Premier League Hall of Fame according to the body in charge.
In April, Arsenal legend Thierry Henry and Alan Shearer were given the honour following their impressive contributions in boosting the English topflight football.
Interestingly, Eric Cantona only spent five years at Manchester United, but the big Frenchman was incredible, winning four League titles with the Red Devils.
Also during his stay at Old Trafford, Eric Cantona scored 70 goals in 156 Premier League games for Manchester United before he hanged his boots in 1997.
Premier League Hall of Fame are only recognizing players who have made significant impact in the English topflight since 1992.
And for any former player to be considered for induction, such man must have retired from football by August 1, 2020.
In the French national team, Eric Cantona played 45 games scoring 20 goals for the reigning world champions.
Ole Solskjaer and his wards at Old Trafford are currently occupying second position on the Premier League table and the Red Devils will face Fulham in next tie.
