Brazilian footballer Lucas Alves and his wife Sarah stormed the streets of Ilorin in Kwara state where they were spotted giving kids and their parents foods and other valuable items.
The Kwara United player and his wife joined the initiative sponsored by Hsk whose primary aim is to tour the streets in Nigeria and support kids and poor parents.
Lucas and his wife agreed to join the campaign in efforts in reduce the level of hunger among the kids and parents in Ilorin which is the capital of Kwara state.
Food items like rice, beans and garri were given to the kids and their parents who were in joyous mood to see the Kwara United player and his wife.
Items like milk, sugar, milo were also shared to the kids and parents on the streets by Kwara United star Lucas and his wife.
While speaking with Legit.ng on what prompted his decision to feed vulnerable kids and parents, Lucas Alves explained that he is someone who loves making the poor happy.
''I accepted to join the campaign because it is something I have always wanted to do and it is a great one doing this on the streets of Nigeria.
''I love Nigerians, they are great people and I will continue to do something good as long as I live here together with my wife.''
Meanwhile, Lucas was not in action on Sunday evening, May 16, as his club Kwara United defeated Plateau United 2-0 in NPFL match-day 21 encounter played at the Ilorin stadium.
