Man United have enjoyed an impressive run of results this season, with their spectacular away form playing an integral part in their current position on the standings.

United currently occupy second place on the log with 63 points, 11 behind leaders Man City and a game to play.

On Sunday, April 11, they sprung a stunning comeback to down Tottenham Hotspur in a huge result that saw them revive their slim title hopes.

The Red Devils went a goal down in the first half courtesy of Heung-Min Son's opener, but staged a spirited performance in the second half to secure a 3-1 win.

The fightback was among the numerous Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's men have had this term.

United have, on a number of occasions this season given themselves work to do and have had to rely on second half performances to get the job done often during their away matches.

For instance, the Old Trafford dwellers fell behind at Brighton, Newcastle, Everton, Southampton, West Ham, Sheffield United and West Brom.

However, they showed incredible power of recovery in all the listed matches, picking 25 points from them.

Stats now show Ole's men would be languishing in the bottom half of the table with a paltry 38 points from 31 matches if games finished at half-time.

According to SunSport, the side would be in dire straits behind the likes of Brighton, Crystal Palace and Southampton.

Spurs, who have dropped points from quite a number of games while in winning positions would be sitting second with 57 points, seven behind Man City who would still be topping the charts.

West Ham, who currently occupy fourth place would be up in third, with Chelsea who now sit fifth completing the top four slots.

There would not be much difference for Arsenal who currently sit ninth, with stats showing they would be down in 13th with 35 points.

Meanwhile, Newcastle would be battling relegation alongside West Brom and Sheffield United, with Fulham in safety at 14th.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Son Heung-Min got emotional during a post-match interview after Tottenham's 3-1 Premier League defeat to Man United over to the weekend.

The Korean international grabbed the opener in the first half but it was not enough as the Red Devils battled back to score three in the second period to stand solidly in second spot.
