Whereas United are said to be treating the scary episode as a "one-off", reports suggest the club are looking to analyse arrangements around Solskjaer's general security and safety.
Mail Online further divulged the fan could have been an autograph hunter who wanted nothing but Ole's sign. The legendary striker often makes time to sign supporters' autos.
The incident was reported in the wake of the Red Devils' 2-1 hard-fought win over a stubborn Brighton side on the evening of Sunday, April 4, at Old Trafford.
The Manchester side had to come from a goal down to secure their victory, with Marcus Rashford and Mason Greenwood combining to steer the team to a crucial win.
Brighton took a deserved lead just 13 minutes after the kickoff through Danny Welbeck, a former United academy graduate and player.
Rashford went on to draw the hosts level in the second half, with Greenwood putting the game to bed minutes to stoppage time.
The win all but confirmed a top four finish for the Old Trafford dwellers as they cemented their place in second on the log.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has painted a grim picture of Anthony Martial's fitness after the Man United star picked a knee injury during international duty.
Martial was forced off with a knee problem during France's 2-0 win over Kazakhstan last weekend, ruling him out of United's Premier League meeting with Brighton on Sunday, April 4.
Sources reveal that the striker was able to play during the fixture briefly before he was eventually substituted.
