Senate President Shows off Amazing Football Skills, Stirs Reactions on Social Media

Amid his tight schedules as the country's number three citizen, the president of the Senate, Ahmad Lawan found time to engage in outdoor activities.
Several photos of Lawan posted online showing him display impressive football skills at the Gashua stadium, on Saturday, April 3, won the hearts of many young Nigerians.
In the photos sighted on Twitter by Legit.ng, the Senate president took a shot to kick off the finals of the Sardaunan Bade Football Tournament between Bade Academy F.C and Nguru ‘B’ F.C.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng reported that Governor Yahaya Bello hosted former Super Eagles stars, Austin Okocha, Victor Ikpeba, Tijani Babangida, Ifeanyi Udeze, Taribo West, and Augustine Eguavoen.
The Kogi state governor who was in a joyous mood to welcome these former internationals decided to show them his little football skills at the Government House in Lokoja.
The 45-year-old who was known as a good footballer during his days in the University jogged the ball in brilliant style in the presence of his visitors.
Similarly, Lagos state governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu showed off his football skills in the presence of Barcelona superstar Asisat Oshoala and other dignitaries at the statehouse.
The 55-year-old politician was presented with two autographed gifts - one customised Barca jersey and a Nike ball.
