Pep Guardiola tops list of highest paid managers in Premier League with N10.4 billion a year income
- Jurgen Klopp and Jose Mourinho are currently among the best paid managers in the Premier League
- However, the duo does not come close to their rival Pep Guardiola who is on an eye-watering £20m-a-year deal at Etihad
- Solskjaer is expected to climb up the ladder of money rankings once he puts pen to paper on his new deal at Old Trafford
Man United boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is reportedly edging closer to a new bumper deal with the club.
The deal will see Ole receive a £2.5million (about KSh 378 million) payrise according to reports filtering through the UK.
The Norwegian's current contract at Old Trafford is due to expire in 2022, having been appointed to the role in 2018 on a four-year deal.
SunSport reports the new contract will be tabled even if Solskjaer fails to win a trophy this season, with the club's hierarchy said to be confident he is the man to take United forward in the long-term.

The publication, citing The Mirror, added the 48-year-old will be handed a new three-year deal which will see him cement his place as one of the best paid mangers in the English top-flight.
However, even with the pay-rise, there are still a number of managers who will be earning way better than the legendary striker.
Man City boss Pep Guardiola is unsurprisingly the league's best paid tactician, with the Spaniard currently pocketing an eye-watering £20m per year.
And with the ex-Bayern man closing in on a third title with City in just four years, he appears to be worth every penny.
Sitting second on the money rankings is Tottenham Hotspur manager, Jose Mourinho, who is said to be banking a massive £15m-a-year.
The figure is as much as what Jurgen Klopp takes home at Liverpool, thanks to his successful spell at Anfield that has seen the club win the Champions League and their first Premier League title in nearly 30 years.

Next on the list is Everton's Carlo Ancelotti who is on a £11.5m contract per year at Goodinson Park.
The Toffees are understood to have pulled out all the stops to land the experienced manager, with the lucrative deal among the incentives that attracted Ancelotti to the job.
Leicester's Brendan Rodgers and his Leeds United counterpart Marcelo Bielsa also make the shortlist, with the latter expected to renew his deal at Elland Road at the end of the ongoing season.
