Former Manchester United goalkeeper Ben Foster has explained how Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo missed a Christmas party at Old Trafford because of his dedication and commitment.
Cristiano Ronaldo is no doubt one of the best footballers in the world considering his achievements in the game.
The Portugal international started his football career on the streets of Portugal before moving to Sporting Lisbon where he was spotted by former Man United boss Sir Alex Ferguson.
Sir Alex Ferguson bought Cristiano Ronaldo from Sporting Lisbon in 2003 and went on to play for the Red Devils for six terms.
According to the report on Daily Star, Ben Foster who spent four years with Ronaldo at Old Trafford explained that the Portuguese is a different player.
"He didn't drink. I remember we had a Christmas-do once, and he didn't come out. He wouldn't come out just because it was a night out drinking and all that kind of stuff.
"It was too much in the media eye and he wouldn't really get involved too much with stuff like that."
Cristiano Ronaldo and his teammates at Juventus are currently occupying third position on the Serie A table with 55 points after 26 games played so far.
