Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel is speaking tough on his players saying he is not bothered about wrecking their chances of playing at the European championships.

Tammy Abraham is the latest player who has fallen down the pecking order at the Stamford Bridge and that might affect his chances of being called-up into the England national team.

He was not in action on Monday when Chelsea defeated Everton 2-0 and Tuchel says he is indifferent about his player’s feelings.

Euro 2020 which was postponed to this summer is just three months away with Tuchel saying his main job is to ensure Chelsea continue to win. He said via Daily Mail:

“I know well that the players have personal interests and this is OK. I hope they fight for their personal interests. I really hope they give out their very best.
“Their personal interest is to be on the pitch for Chelsea and hopefully be on the pitch for their national team. That shows their ambition and quality.
“In my job as manager of Chelsea I cannot be influenced by a decision that has an impact on the national coach's decision or a player's future with his national team.
“My choices are made to win games with Chelsea and nothing else."

Tuchel earlier admitted that Christian Pulisic has been unfairly treated by him, as the American winger is set to quit the Stamford Bridge club.

He was introduced in the closing stages of their 2-0 win over Everton and came off the bench six other times.

His only start came in the Blues’ 1-0 FA Cup win against Barnsley a month ago — and he was subbed off in that encounter.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng earlier reported that Chelsea might be making a move for Bayern Munich forward Kingsley Coman following the uncertain future of Christian Pulisic at Stamford Bridge.

The London club has reportedly been monitoring the Frenchman who has been considered as the right replacement for Callum Hudson-Odoi who is also wanted by the German champions.

Sources claim the Blues' recruitment team is ready to rekindle their love for the player who fired the Bavarians to Champions League glory over PSG in August 2020.
