Premier League is arguable the most paying league in the world with most of their players earning six figures on a weekly basis.
While some believe there's nothing wrong with the huge amount of monies these players make, others feel a lot of them do not merit the price tag placed on them.
Although this report will not consider players on loan at a Premier League club as part of the experiment, hence, the likes of Gareth Bale who's currently at Tottenham Hotspur can be excused.

GK: Kepa Arrizabalaga (Chelsea) - £150,000-per-week

He joined Chelsea from Athletic Bilbao for £72 million and he is also the fourth-highest paid player at the club, and his salary doubles that of Edouard Mendy's.
RB: Nathaniel Clyne (Crystal Palace) - £80,000-per-week
Despite rejoining Crystal Palace as a free agent, he still managed to sign a contract that earns him this much in spite of his best days behind him.
CB: Phil Jones (Manchester United) - £75,000-per-week
The centre-back hasn't featured for the Red Devils this campaign despite having a contract with them until 2023, however, he is still earning as much as he does.
CB: Mamadou Sakho (Crystal Palace) - £100,000-per-week
Sakho is an injury-prone player and that alone does not make him eligible to earn in six figures week in, week out in the EPL.

LB: Marcos Alonso (Chelsea) - £100,000-per-week
The Spaniard is clearly losing touch with top form competitive football and regardless, he is smiling to the bank every week to cash out a staggering £100k.
CM: Adam Lallana (Brighton) - £90,000-per-week
Lallana joined Brighton from Liverpool in the summer of 2020 and he was able to eclipse the wages of the club's highest-paid by £40,000 after signing his deal.
CM: Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (Liverpool) - £120,000-per-week
Joining Liverpool from Arsenal was a good move for Oxlade-Chamberlain having already won the Premier League and the Champions League. But his consistent injury issues have marred his reign at Anfield and does not deserve to earn six figures.
RM: Willian (Arsenal) - £192,000-per-week
The Brazilian made a switch from Chelsea to Arsenal for free in the summer while staying in the same city he has been in since 2013. His move cost nothing but was able to seal a deal of around £192k per week with little or nothing to show for his huge pay.

CAM: Donny van de Beek (Manchester United) - £120,000-per-week
The Dutchman has not been able to break into Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team since he joined them from Ajax last summer.
LM: Bernard (Everton) - £120,000-per-week
Bernard is surprisingly Everton's joint-highest paid player, alongside Yerry Mina. The winger has managed just five goals in 67 Premier League appearances overall and has only featured in six games this season.
ST: Christian Benteke (Crystal Palace) - £120,000-per-week
At Aston Villa, Benteke was a classic 'the streets won't forget' player. Since joining Palace on a permanent basis, he's looked like a League One player. In the past three Premier League seasons, the Belgian has played 56 games and scored only six goals.
Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester United are yet to win the Premier League since 2013 despite parading some of the most expensive players in their squad.
The Red Devils recaptured Paul Pogba from Juventus in the summer of 2016 in the club's record deal valued around £89.3 million - the highest the club ever paid on a player to date.
He was part of Jose Mourinho's squad that won the Europa League and the EFL Cup titles but failed to clinch the EPL.
