Pep Guardiola who is the gaffer of Premier League giants Manchester City has reportedly told the club's chiefs to sign Aston Villa winger Jack Grealish during the coming transfer window.
This latest development comes after Pep Guardiola signed a new contract with Manchester City chiefs to continue as their manager for another two years.
Jack Grealish has been one of the best wingers so far this season in the Premier League considering his superb performances for Aston Villa.
Although there have been reports of Manchester City tracking Lionel Messi and Harry Kane, but according to the report on Daily Mail, Jack Grealish is Pep Guardiola's first target.
The report added that Manchester City boss Guardiola spoke to midfielder Kevin de Bruyne about Grealish and he gave a good recommendation.
De Bruyne who recently played against Grealish when Belgium faced England, is said to have described Grealish as a player who Manchester City should sign.
However, Manchester City chiefs are also said to be aware that signing Jack Grealish will cost them big amount which they are ready for.
Since he got promotion to Aston Villa's first team in 2012, the England international has played 166 games so far netting 27 goals.
Earlier, Legit.ng had reported how Manchester City may have abandoned their interest in bringing Lionel Messi when his contract with Barcelona expires in the summer.
The Citizens tried luring the six-time Ballon d'Or winner away from Camp Nou in August but his heavy release clause incapacitated them from completing the deal.
