Legit.ng earlier reported that Manchester City might likely relaunch a mega-money bid for want-away Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi when the January transfer window opens.
The Premier League outfit tried luring the five-time ballon d'Or winner away from the Nou Camp in the summer but they could not trigger his £625 million release clause.
