Cristiano Ronaldo high-five invisible Juventus fans in the tunnel before Inter game

Cristiano Ronaldo in an unlikely manner psyched himself up for Serie A clash between Juventus and Inter Milan, cited on Twitter.

The match did not have fans in attendance because of the coronavirus scare as the Allianz Stadium in Turin was empty for the clash.

The Bianconeri team bus arrived at the stadium and in the usual manner fans would stretch their hands out to greet players.

But since there was no one to extend a handshake, Ronaldo improvised and greeted invisible fans with a high five and the Juve top striker smiled about the act.

Juventus went back to top of the Italian league after beating Inter Milan 2-0 in a highly entertaining fixture.

Ronaldo played his 1000th career game and came close to finding the back of the net on a few occasions. But the 35-year-old provided the assist to Aaron Ramsey's 55th minute strike.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Gernot Rohr has raised concerns over his relationship with newly-appointed Super Eagles assistant coach Joseph Yobo, cited Complete Sports quoting BBC.

The German tactician claims he has spoken with to the former Nigerian international since he took over the job from Imama Amapakabo.
