Paul Pogba: Solskjaer slams Scholes criticisms on Man United midfielder

Paul Pogba is likely to return for Man United after being sidelined with injury problems on his ankle.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has blasted former Red Devils legend Paul Scholes who stated that the World Cup winner does not want to return.
The 26-year-old has only made few appearances for United this term is set to make a long awaited return in February.
The Frenchman is set to begin light-training and will be able to help his team improve on their inconsistent form.
Scholes made a remark about Pogba trying to make excuses to return to full action for the Old Trafford club
“I don’t think Pogba is on his way back and even if he is on way back, he’ll be moaning about something else to try to not play - try to get his move away from the club,” he told Premier League Productions.
But ahead of United's second leg Carabao Cup semi final clash with Man City Solskjaer has responded to his former teammate Scholes: “Paul has had a terrible season with injuries and he is desperate to play football.
“So if there is one thing I know about Paul it’s that he loves playing football and training, and it’s been playing on his mind
“Anyone who is injured, you cannot wait to get back on the pitch, and you feel so free and he has been playing with pain so I am sure when he is pain and injury free he will enjoy his football.
“I see a boy who is fed up with being injured and who is desperate to play football. Paul has always been a top professional so I don’t have any doubts that when he comes back he is going to enjoy himself.”
Scott McTominay is also expected to return to training to bolster Solskjaer's squad alongside Pogba.
The French midfield mysterio could return to action alongside Bruno Fernandes who is expected to complete a move from Sporting Lisbon before deadline day.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Sporting Lisbon skipper, Bruno Fernandes, has hinted he had his sights set on a move to the Premier League.
The admission comes just hours after Man United reportedly finally reached a deal with his club to sign him.
