Aston Villa are through to the Carabao Cup final following a 2-1 win over Leicester City at Villa Park on Tuesday, January 28.
Matt Target and Trezeguet got the goals for the Villans while Kelechi Iheanacho scored Leicester's equalizer on the night.
Dean Smith's side were lucky not to have gone behind in the opening exchanges as Oerjan Haaskjold Nyland made two saves in quick succession.
But it was the home side that took the lead in the 12th minute as Jack Grealish produced a fine pass for Targett who rifled his shot home to make it 1-0.
The Norwegian shot-stopper also made another fantastic save from Youri Tielemans' shot from outside of the 18-yard shot that came off the cross-bar.
The Foxes finally got their equalizer through Iheanacho in the second half after a brilliant move from Harvey Barnes down the left saw the Nigerian finish off from close range. 1-1 it was.
Northern Irish defender Johnny Evans should have won it for Brendan Rodgers' side late on after his header from a corner kick went just wide.
But it was the Villans who had the last shout in the match as Ahmed El Mohamady's delightful cross found his compatriot Trezeguet who slammed home his effort in the third minute of injury time to win it by 2-1.
Aston Villa will now await the winner of Manchester City and Man United for a date in the final at Wembley.
