US President Donald Trump has shared an emotional tribute to the late NBA player Kobe Bryant. Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter passed away after his helicopter crashed. Trump described the basketball star as one of the "truly great basketball players of all time".
The legendary NBA player and admired sports star passed away in a fatal helicopter crash. It is believed a fire broke out and the helicopter spiralled out of control.
Donald Trump took to Twitter handle and posed: "Kobe Bryant, despite being one of the truly great basketball players of all time, was just getting started in life. He loved his family so much, and had such strong passion for the future. The loss of his beautiful daughter, Gianna, makes this moment even more devastating."
He also went on to extend condolences to the Bryant family: "Melania and I send our warmest condolences to Vanessa and the wonderful Bryant family. May God be with you all!"
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Jose Mourinho has persuaded his players to follow the winning mentality of Kobe Bryant when he became manager of Tottenham last November.
The LA Lakers legend including his 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven other died in the tragic crash that occurred in California.

Another report stated Kobe Bryant could be used as the new NBA logo as a petition has been written to that effect which already has 200,000 signatures supporting the motion.
With the sporting world mourning the loss of one of their biggest icons, fan support has been everywhere.
Legit.ng further stated that details and photos of all the nine people who were aboard the chopper have been released on American television.
While the deaths of Kobe and his daughter have dominated news headlines, they were not the people who suffered the unfortunate fate.
