Tobiloba Amusan, Nigeria's track and field queen bags BSc from University of Texas
Tobi Amusan Nigeria's track and field queen has graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from the University of Texas, El Paso.
The Commonwealth and African Games Champion made her mark at the NCAA events in 2016 and 2017.
Amusan, 22, who won silver and gold medals in the 100m Hurdles events in 2016 and 2017 respectively bagged medals as she bows out of the institution in flying colours.

She finished fourth at the 2019 World Championships in Doha, Qatar in October having run a personal best of 12.48s at the earlier stage of the championship.
The Ijebu-Ode born athlete won gold medal at this year's edition of the African Games staged in Rabat, Morocco.
And this is among several other titles she has won both domestically and also on the continent.

She told El Paso Times after her graduation that: "The goal was to come here, get my degree alongside doing what I love doing most: running track. And I'm glad finally, I can call myself a UTEP graduate.
"It's amazing knowing I don't have to go through any more classes. From now on, it's just practice, go home and sleep, repeat. That's awesome."

The athlete started from a very rough background. He gained his nickname (Mr. I Never Experred It) when he mispronounced “I never expected it” as “I never experred it.”
Born on October 7, 1996, he specializes in 100 and 200-meter run, holding personal records of 9.86 seconds in the former and 19.73 seconds in the latter.
