Call for Unity and National Interest
Accord emphasized the need for prayers and unity in fostering a strong, stable, and prosperous Nigeria. The party stressed that national interest should supersede personal, political, and sectional considerations.
"To achieve this, Nigerians should be in one accord as national interest overrides personal, political, and sectional interests," Mgbudem stated.
Leaders Urged to Prioritize Good Governance
The party also called on leaders at all levels of government to prioritize the welfare of the masses by implementing policies that will alleviate economic hardship.
"The masses yearn for good governance and progressive leadership that will redirect the ship of the state to the path of rectitude, development, and advancement. Leaders must sit up and implement pro-people programs rather than give excuses," the statement read.
A Call to Action
Accord urged Nigerians to reflect on the lessons of Ramadan and work collectively toward national progress.
"As we reflect on the lessons of Ramadan, let us resolve to make Nigeria great again," Mgbudem concluded.
The party extended warm wishes to all Muslims and wished them a pleasant Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
