President Bola Tinubu: Full List of New Service Chiefs, IGP, Customs Boss, Others

Aso Villa, Abuja - Exactly three weeks that he resumed the office of the presidency, President Bola Tinubu approved the retirement of the service chiefs with immediate effect on Monday, June 19.

The unprecedented shake-up also affected the Inspector-General of the Police, top security advisers, as well as the Comptroller-General of Customs while announcing their replacements.

However, it was noted that the new security chiefs, IGP, and the Comptroller General of Customs are to be in an acting capacity until they are confirmed in line with Nigeria's constitution.

The development was disclosed in a statement by Willie Bassey, the state house director of information for the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), George Akume.

  6. DIG Kayode Egbetokun Acting Inspector-General of Police
  7. Maj. Gen. EPA Undiandeye Chief of Defense Intelligence

President Tinubu departs Nigeria for France on Tuesday

Legit.ng earlier reported that President Bola Tinubu will be out of Nigeria on Tuesday for the signing of a New Global Financial Pact in Paris, the capital of France.
