Chief of Defence Staff, General Lucky Irabor has said that the Nigerian military will not celebrate the new-found peace in Borno until states across the country experience calm and order.

Speaking in Abuja on Wednesday, June 29, General Iraboh also noted that the force is also making serious efforts to see that all Nigerians who have been affected in one way or the other by the menace of banditry, terrorism, and insurgency get justice.

Go forward, he categorically assured citizens that the forthcoming 2023 general elections will be conducted in a secure atmosphere.

The CDS noted that the Nigerian Defence has mapped out plans to make sure this becomes a reality in the forthcoming polls.
