2023: Declare for Presidency, Nigerian Youths beg Yemi Osinbajo

Abeokuta, Ogun - Nigeria's Vice President Yemi Osinbajo (SAN) has been urged to throw his hat into the ring for the presidential election in 2023.
Daily Trust reports that youths under the aegis of Ogun Youth Network made the call on Friday, December 10, in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
The chairman of the group, Oluwagbenga Odumosu, noted that Osinbajo remains the best candidate to succeed President Muhammadu Buhari.
Odumosu explained that the vice president can carry on with the policies of the administration having worked closely with Buhari in the last six years.

While addressing members of the group, the chairman of the Ogun Youth Network, said Osinbajo has what it takes to govern Nigeria because of his “competence, experience, fairness, youth friendliness and open-mindedness.”
Osinbajo sends message to Nigerian youths
The Guardian earlier reported that Osinbajo charged Nigerian youths to look past the challenges Nigeria is currently facing.
The vice president appealed to the young generation to build the future they desire by focusing on what is right.
He urged the youths to reject the temptation to inherit the biases and prejudice of their parents. and seize opportunities to contribute to Nigeria.
2023: Osinbajo best qualified to consolidate legacies of Buhari
Legit.ng previously reported that a group, the Progressives Consolidation Group (PCG) insisted that Osinbajo is the best-qualified person to succeed Buhari in 2023.
The group made this known via its convener, Aliyu Kurfi, in a letter to the national caretaker committee chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Yobe state governor, Mai Mala Buni.
The PCG is a component member of The Progressive Project 2023 (TPP) with millions of advocates across the country.
Osinbajo has not opened campaign office
Meanwhile, PCG has denied some media reports claiming that the vice president has opened a campaign office in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
According to a statement sent to Legit.ng by Barrister Emmanuel Pippa, publicity secretary of the group, the office referred to in the publications, belongs to support groups rooting for the vice president to be the next president of Nigeria in 2023.
The group said there is a need for clarification on its mandate in line with the support for the vice president's ambition to lead Nigeria in 2023.
