Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie on Wednesday, December 1, opened up on why former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar should support his presidential ambition in 2023.
According to him, he resigned from his government appointment to support the former Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential candidate back in 2019.
In a post shared on his official Instagram page, Edochie expressed hope Atiku will support him the same way he did during the last presidential election.
Edochie explained that he supported Atiku because he wanted a positive turn around for Nigeria, however, it was unfortunate that the poll turned out the way it did that Atiku lost the election.

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Edochie, Nollywood actor turned politician is not backing down from his ambition to become the next president of Nigeria.
The actor who is also gearing up for the forthcoming general elections in 2023 took to his Instagram page with a bold declaration.
Edochie stated that if a free and fair election is conducted in Nigeria, he stands a strong chance of defeating other candidates in the race.

In a related development, Edochie took to social media with some words of commendation for colleague, Davido in reaction to the singer’s N1 million donation drama, Edochie noted that he has proved that it is indeed possible to crowdfund.
The presidential hopeful went on to add that most youths vying for the position of the president in the country are mostly lacking when it comes to sufficient funds.
According to Edochie, elections are generally won with billions of naira. He added that crowdfunding can be the solution for young aspirants in the country. He concluded his post by sharing his bank account details
