2023 Presidency: Prominent Nigerian Clerics Reveal Their Anointed Aspirant

FCT, Abuja - Religious leaders under the auspices of the North Central Inter-Faith Clerics Council of Nigeria have endorsed Moses Ayom to be the next president of Nigeria in 2023.

The group which comprised of Muslim and Christian clerics called on Nigerians to support Ayom for equity and justice, Daily Trust reported.

Legit.ng gathers that the clerics said since 1999, the North Central geopolitical zone has not produced either the president or the vice president unlike other zones of the country.

The position of the men of God was contained in a communiqué after their meeting in Abuja.

They argued that there was the need for other parts of Nigeria to consider the call for the North Central to produce Nigeria's next president in the interest of fairness and equity.

In the communiqué, jointly signed by Bishop David Usman and Imam Aliyu Rabiu Lawal, the clerics said they believe in the ability of Moses Ayom to build on the foundation laid by President Muhammadu Buhari-led administration to move Nigeria forward.

2023: Governor Umahi speaks on campaign posters, gives condition to run for president

In another related report, David Umahi, the governor of Ebonyi state, has dissociated himself from campaign posters with an inscription that he wants to run for president in the next general elections in 2023.

The posters have reportedly flooded various social media platforms and strategic locations across the country.

Reacting via a statement by his media aide, Francis Nwaze, Governor Umahi noted that the gesture may be in good faith. He, however, said he would only heed the call to run for president if he is divinely inspired.

Presidential campaign posters of former APC governor flood the streets

Similarly, presidential campaign posters of former Ogun state governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun, have surfaced in the southwest state.

The poster which reads “Your voice, your choice SIA (meaning Senator Ibikunle Amosun) for President,” was sighted at the popular NNPC bridge along presidential boulevard way, Oke Mosan, Abeokuta.

It was gathered that some vehicles in the metropolis were also sighted to have been branded with a similar campaign.
