The agency predicted sunny skies over the Northern region throughout the forecast period on Tuesday.

It anticipated cloudy skies with intervals of sunshine over the North central states throughout the forecast period with prospects of isolated thunderstorms over Benue, Nasarawa and the Federal Capital Territory during the afternoon and evening hours.

NiMet forecast the inland and the coastal cities of the South to be predominantly cloudy with chances of isolated thunderstorms over parts of Cross River and Akwa Ibom states during the morning hours.

Nigerian man surprised as 'snow' drops from the sky in Edo

Legit.ng previously reported that a Nigerian man left social media users in amazement as to the unusual weather discovery he made in his compound.

In a video that made the rounds on social media, a yet-to-be-identified man shared the moment it heavily rained balls of ice or what many described as snow.

The video was said to have been taken in Irrua in Edo state, according to Naija. In the video shared on Twitter by @Naija_PR, an unidentified man exclaimed that what is commonplace in foreign nations is now happening in his compound.
