The winner of the recent Anambra governorship election, Charles Chukwuma Soludo, has spoken on how his administration will work after he is sworn in as governor.
Soludo said there will be no waste of time as he and his cabinet member will hit the ground running from day one.
The former governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) noted that during his campaign, the governor of the state, Willie Obiano, claimed that he is supporting him based on the belief that he will do much better in office.
According to Soludo in an interview, this remark by Governor Obiano puts a lot of pressure on him to perform.

He stated:
"The governor, Willie Obiano, himself during the campaign told the people of the state that the person he is supporting will do better than him.
"That is a very rare act of humility on his part and it has also put a lot of pressure on us."
Soludo added that on the day of inauguration, the Anambra people will hear from him on how his government will run in the next four years.

Meanwhile, Soludo on Wednesday, November 10, maintained that he was not coming on the job to learn.
Soludo who made this statement during an interview revealed that after the handover next year, he would hit the ground running from day one.
According to Soludo, his transition into leading the people for the next fours years would be a smooth exercise, adding that there was time.

In another news, he reacted to his victory in the just-concluded election.
Professor Florence Obi, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)'s returning officer for the election, on Wednesday, November 10, declared Soludo who polled 112,229 votes as the winner of the election.
