According to the state chairman, the party will not accept the outcome of the election.

Ejidike said the APC won in all the local government, but Obiano and Soludo conspired with some corrupt Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) officers to overturn the whole process in favour of APGA.

APC calls for a fresh election

The state chairman has called on INEC to cancel the election and fix another date for a fresh election that would be free of manipulations and malpractices, Business Day reports.

According to him, if the electoral commission goes ahead to declare APGA the winner of the election, the APC will waste no time in challenging the process at the court of law.

He added that the people of Anambra want an APC Governor and there is nothing anyone can do to deny them that opportunity.

The election was free and fair

In a swift reaction to the allegation, the APGA chairman in Anambra, Nobert Obi, said everyone witnessed a free and fair election. According to him, the accusation was uncalled for.

Soludo wins 17 out of 21 LGAs

By the results announced so far by INEC, Soludo has seen an increase in his existing margin of lead.

The APGA candidate has won in 17 LGAs while the PDP and the YPP won one each. So far, the APC has not won any LGA.

Soludo made his first comment as INEC continued to announce the results. He shared a photo of him monitoring the results on his Instagram page on Sunday evening, November 7.

Though the ruling APGA has maintained its lead, indications show that the party may not be declared the winner today.
