Valentine Ozigbo, candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has won his first local government in the ongoing Anambra governorship collation.
The PDP candidate won the poll at the Ogbaru local government area of the state. He scored PDP— 3445 while the All Progressives Congress and The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) scored 1178 and 3051 respectively.
Stella Oduah, a former PDP legislator who recently joined the APC, is from Ogbaru LGA.

Party agents of most of the leading parties are allegedly inducing voters with different amount of money ranging from N500 to N10, 000.
According to a report, an agent was seen meeting voters after they had cast their votes and writing down their names on a sheet of paper; apparently with a view to paying them later.
INEC extends voting time in Anambra due to malfunction of BVAS
Meanwhile, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said voting will be extended to 4 pm in Anambra state due to the malfunction of the Biometric Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) in several polling units across the state.
The announcement was made by Dr Nkwachukwu Orji, INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Anambra after briefing the media at the commission's state headquarters in Awka.
Orji said there is a possibility of the election continuing on Sunday, November 7. He admitted that the BVAS did not work in several polling units across the state, therefore, slowing down the accreditation and voting process.
Professor Soludo of APGA leads in 10 Anambra LGAs
Also, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidate, Prof Charles Soludo, has won in 10 of the 11 local governments declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) so far in the ongoing Anambra governorship poll.
The candidate of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) Senator Ifeanyi Ubah, won in one of the local governments.
