Breaking: APGA Wins Another LGA, Now Leading With Over 36,0000 Votes
- Professor Soludo has been declared winner of Orumba north local government area in the ongoing governorship election
- The APGA candidate and former CBN governor polled a total of 4,826 votes ahead of other candidates in the election
- Meanwhile, Senator Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC) secured 2,692 votes while Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got 1,863 votes
In what will continue to excite members of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) and admirers of the governorship candidate of the party Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, the party has added Orumba north local government area to its victory in the ongoing governorship election in Anambra state.
According to Daily Trust, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo, candidate of APGA polled a total of 4,826 votes ahead of Senator Andy Uba of the All Progressives Congress (APC), who secured 2,692 votes and Mr Valentine Ozigbo of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who had 1,863 votes.
As at the time of filing this report, Soludo has a total of 60,988 votes in eight LGAs, followed by Ozigbo, who has 24,972, leaving a margin of 36,016.
Uba is trailing with 21,505 votes.

Pay us now! Drama in Anambra as voters follow party agent for their money
Recall that Legit.ng reported that one of the greatest ills of Nigerian election - vote buying - is brazenly playing out in Anambra state governorship election.
Party agents of most of the leading parties are allegedly inducing voters with different amount of money ranging from N500 to N10, 000.
According to a report, an agent was seen meeting voters after they had cast their votes and writing down their names on a sheet of paper; apparently with a view to paying them later.
INEC extends voting time in Anambra due to malfunction of BVAS
Meanwhile, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has said voting will be extended to 4 pm in Anambra state due to the malfunction of the Biometric Voters Accreditation System (BVAS) in several polling units across the state.
The announcement was made by Dr Nkwachukwu Orji, INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Anambra after briefing the media at the commission's state headquarters in Awka.
Orji said there is a possibility of the election continuing on Sunday, November 7. He admitted that the BVAS did not work in several polling units across the state, therefore, slowing down the accreditation and voting process.
