5 Facts About Labour Party Candidate, Obiora Agbasimalo, Why He is Declared the New Face of Anambra
On Saturday November 6, 2021, the good people of Anambra state would cast their vote and decide who will rule in the state.
As the race to replace Governor Willie Obiano gets tougher by the day, the main political party for the race are, the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and the All Progressives Congress (APC).

It's few days to the elections, and all road leads to Anambra in much talked about topic in recent times, The Anambra Governorship Election, that has taken the center stage of discussions in the polity.

Also, the PDP Nnewi South structure decamped and declare their support for Obiora Agbasimalo for Anambra state governorship election in 2021.
The flagbearer of the Labour party is overwhelmed by the sheer volume of spontaneous support he receive especially from the delegates of the party.

In recent times, they have described him as a hardworking and a man who posses distinct leadership skills that would bring to reality their desired dream state.
According to Agbasimalo, he is well prepared for this race. He noted that this opportunity to serve the people, if granted, has not come by accident but through well -articulated vision and inspired action plan towards building prosperity among Anambrians.
He noted that he is bringing to the table, his over 15 years experience in both private and public service to the fore in this leadership journey .
Agbasimalo assured Anambra resident that he is well prepared to give quality leadership to the state.
4. Catchy Blueprint
The Labour Party candidate is well committed to the vision and collective aspirations of the founding fathers by building more infrastructure, create wealth and provide economic prosperity for the people.
He noted also that the blueprint and road map for development of Anambra state cut across areas such as education, healthcare, security, provision of affordable & constant power supply, provision of new roads & maintenance of existing road network in the state, improve transportation system, boost agriculture, economic development, welfare packages for senior citizens.
5. Passion to serve
They often describe him as one with a good sense of humility, responsibility and deep passion for service to the state.
Due to his love for service, during his flag-off ceremony, Agbasimalo noted that God is involved in his project and he is sure of victory.
He said:
"I, wish to accept this nomination to fly the flag of our great party, the Labor Party, in the November 6th, 2021 Anambra State Governorship Election. This flag is a flag of victory because God is involved in this project. This is the very reason and inspiration behind my slogan, “Follow Who Know Road”... "Solu Onye Ma Uzo"
He urged the good people of the state to join him in building a greater Anambra that they would all be proud of.
Anambra Governorship Debate: Shehu Sani rates the performance of top 3 candidates
Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Senator Shehu Sani, a former federal lawmaker from Kaduna state, has hailed the performance of the Anambra governorship candidates who participated in the debate held in Awka on Monday, November 1.
The debate which was organised by Arise News TV featured Charles Soludo, Senator Andy Uba and Valentine Ozigbo who are the candidates of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) respectively.
The candidates answered questions on security, education, economy and health.
