Anambra Governorship Debate: Shehu Sani Rates the Performance of Top 3 Candidates

Senator Shehu Sani, a former federal lawmaker from Kaduna state, has hailed the performance of the Anambra governorship candidates who participated in the debate held in Awka on Monday, November 1.

The debate which was organised by Arise News TV featured Charles Soludo, Senator Andy Uba and Valentine Ozigbo who are the candidates of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), the All Progressives Congress (APC) and the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) respectively.

Commenting on the debate, Senator Sani said all the three candidates performed well, adding that such a debate cannot happen in many states.

He commented on Facebook:

"All the participants in the Anambra debate are winners. Many states cannot even have their candidates engage in such a debate."

Reactions trail Sani's post

Meanwhile, some Nigerians have also reacted to Senator Sani's comment about the candidates and the debate.

"They actually win if they can provide social amenities, they actually win if they can respect fundamental human right of the citizens of that state. They actually win if they can provide quality education and health care, if they would be contented enough not to touch public funds. They actually win.....

Soludo accuses Senator Uba of kidnapping former governor, forging certificate

Earlier, Legit.ng reported that Soludo, the governorship candidate of APGA, accused his opponent, Senator Uba, of kidnapping and forgery.

He made the accusations when the two clashed during the Anambra governorship debat.

The former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), accused Uba of kidnapping a sitting governor and forging his Senior Secondary School Certificate.
