Anambra Guber: Governorship Candidate Goes Spiritual, Promises Victory for Accord Party

As the heat of the governorship election in Anambra state continues, the flagbearer for Accord Party, Dr. Godwin Maduka, has decided to go spiritual, praying against any defeat in the exercise.

The Nigerian-American doctor on Monday, November 1, assured stakeholders and the people that the party will emerge victorious in the November 6 poll.

He expressed optimism ahead of the keenly contested election, saying through divine assistance he will conquer all fears and challenges.

In a post shared on Facebook, Maduka noted that the upcoming election gives the people of Anambra an opportunity to change what they don’t like by electing a governor that has what it takes.

He said:

"Umu Nnem, I heartily welcome you all to the new month of November. A month that we will experience great victories, testimonies and God's abundance upon us. We shall not relent but persevere to conquer all our fears and challenges through the Divine assistance.
"I assure all of us that light will shine again and disperse the threatening darkness. We are going to smile again. I commend us for the upbeat spirit.
"This is the month that the fate of Ndi Anambra will be decided by Ndi Anambra, we’re not making any mistakes."

Nigerians speak ahead of Anambra election

Udo Chux told Legit.ng that the forthcoming governorship election will be bloody. The Abia state indigene expressed concern over heighten security activities in the southeast state.

According to him, the political tension in Anambra is very high, adding that the people will suffer the actions of politicians.

Anambra election: Maduka picks Sir Obi Kenneth Ifeatu as running mate

Legit.ng previously reported that to demonstrate his readiness for the November 6 Anambra governorship election, Maduka unveiled his running mate at an interactive press conference held on Wednesday, August 11.

Maduka's running mate is Sir Kenneth Ifeatu Obi, a director in a medical company and also a director in an oil servicing firm.

Obi, a Knight, hails from Obosi. He is a devout Anglican, who had vied for the House of Representatives seat in 2015.

Anambra guber: Nigerian prophet predicts winner

Meanwhile, the winner of the much-talked-about Anambra governorship election coming up on Saturday, November 6, has been predicted.

According to Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, the founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church Worldwide, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah of the Young Progressives Party (YPP) will emerge victoriously.

In his recent prophetic declaration, the man of God stated that “victory is surrounding” the YPP gubernatorial candidate, but warned that the politician must avoid being “technically” rigged out from the poll.
