Why I’m Not Satisfied With Ganduje’s Performance, Kwankwaso Gives Important Reason

  • Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso has aired his opinion concerning the performance of Governor Umar Ganduje of Kano state
  • The Senator said he is not impressed with the results of the governor so far in the state, noting he has no grudges with him
  • Meanwhile, Kwankwaso stated further that regarding governance in the state, he would rate Ganduje very low because he is not just satisfied with his doings

Abuja- Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has expressed dissatisfaction over the performance of Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of Kano state.

Daily Trust reports that the Senator made this known while rating the performance of Ganduje, during an interview by Arise TV on Friday, October 29.

Meanwhile, the duo were political allies for years but their relationship turned sour shortly after Ganduje succeeded him as Kano state governor in 2015.

He said though he has nothing personal against Ganduje, he is not just satisfied with his performance.

On his relationship with the governor, he said:

“On personal grounds, there is just no issue but on the issue of governance, certainly we are not satisfied with what the government is doing.
“Probably that was even the genesis of the negative relationship that started immediately he was elected. There are certain things they are doing which do not conform with our belief, do not conform with our ideology.”

Meanwhile, Kwankwaso made these remarks at a time when some political pundits felt both men were about reuniting, Today.ng added.

Recall that Ganduje had showered encomiums on Kwankwaso during his birthday last week. The governor had said he cherishes what he termed their long-standing personal, official and political relationship.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that Senator Rabiu Kwankwaso, a former governor of Kano state, has spoken on the possibility of defecting to the All Progressives Congress (APC) ahead of 2023.

Appearing as a guest on Arise News TV on Friday, October, the former governor was asked if he will consider returning to the APC amid the crisis rocking the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

The former Kano governor who is the leader of the Kwankwasiyya political movement said he is still a member of the PDP and will continue to work with his colleagues to ensure the party succeeds.
