List of Top Groups Openly Backing Tinubu Presidency in 2023

Ahead of the 2023 general elections, groups have continued to canvass for Tinubu’s presidency.

According to The Nation, the national leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu has not declared his intention yet, to contest any office in 2023, but there have been different political movements mobilising support for him to join the 2023 presidential race.

Over the past few months, the ex- Lagos governor’s campaign posters have surfaced in parts of Nigeria, the UK and the US respectively.

Arguably, Tinubu commands a huge support base with his cult of followers, political loyalists growing daily.

Legit.ng gathered that he enjoys the support of a broad spectrum of traditional rulers across the country, some of whom conferred him with honorary chieftaincy titles in appreciation for his philanthropy.

Meanwhile, support groups are campaigning for Tinubu to become President in 2023.

The newspaper checks show that over 120 support groups, especially on social media platforms are promoting the presidential ambition of Tinubu.

Recall that the Nigeria Diaspora for Asiwaju (NDA), a support group, has said the support for the former governor of Lagos State, Bola Tinubu, to run for presidency in 2023 is a collective task, a report by Premium Times also indicate.

It said everyone should support Mr Tinubu to become president, irrespective of tribal or religious sentiments.

2023: Tinubu Support Group inaugurates states steering committee

Meanwhile, Legit.ng had earlier reported that the Tinubu Support Group (TSG) on Saturday, October 23 unveiled Tinubu's legacies and inaugurated its states' steering committees to signal the commencement of the 2023 presidential campaign of former Lagos state governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The event which was held at the TSG campaign office in Maitama, Abuja was attended by notable All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains across the country.

Speaking at the event, the director-general of the TSG, Arch. Umar Ibrahim Mohammed noted that the inauguration of the committee is in support of the group's collective aspiration for a new and better Nigeria from 2023.

2023: Prominent Northern Group declares support for Tinubu

In a related report, the Arewa Youth Alliance for 2023, has drummed up support for Tinubu, stressing that he is the best presidential material in 2023.

The group charged all political parties to commence a process of adopting Tinubu as the sole candidate for Nigeria.

In a press statement released on Wednesday, October 20, in Kano, the group coordinator, Honourable Bello Lawan Bello, said the APC leader has all it takes to rule the country.
