The theme of the 2021 Adoration Ministry's thanksgiving is; 'Bazaar of Mega Health and Mega Prosperity.'
He said that every governor, the leadership of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo group and several other prominent Igbo leaders were working on appropriate measures to address the matter.
Umahi was in the company of the Enugu state governor, Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi during the event
Making a donation of N30 million and 200 tubers of yam and 100 bags of rice at the event, Umahi said President Buhari is working towards repositioning the economy of the nation to reduce poverty.
Umahi said:
"Those elected into the position of authority should provide good governance to the masses who elected them.”
Also, in a Facebook post, the special assistant to the governor on media and publicity, Francis Nwaze, said the governor assured the youths, women and elders in the region that every aspect of their concern have been articulated.
He noted that these concerns would be addressed through an engagement with a centralised leadership strategy.
Umahi said:
"We need peace in the southeast, we believe that this Adoration ground would provide solutions to all our problems in Jesus name."
"We have been making efforts together with governors of the southeast, the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, and Stakeholders to ensure that our brother Nnamdi Kanu is released as soon as possible."
Reverend Father Mbaka reacts
In his address, Father Mbaka described the Ebonyi state governor as an engineer and a high apostle who has turned the state into a contemporary Dubai of Africa.
He also commended Umahi for his donation of the King David University of Medical Sciences, Uburu to the Catholic Church.
Mbaka said:
"Last few weeks ago, I heard that this gvernor here, Apostle Umahi handed the key of a University to the Church, the Catholic Church. You have done something that heaven is shaking.
"Governor Umahi is a very secret sower, if you follow him without sowing, he will be succeeding and you will be decreasing. This is the best Governor Ebonyi ever had, if you doubt it goes to Ebonyi."
Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported Nigeria's presidency has slammed the Economist over its recent report on the security challenges in the country.
The presidency defending the present administration described President Muhammadu Buhari as the only president tackling 5 major security issues - Boko Haram/ISWAP, herders/farmers crisis, IPOB, kidnapping and banditry.
Garba Shehu also described the Economist report as flawed and wrong in every indication.
