  • The list she released sparked mixed reactions on social media as netizens slammed the high cost of getting married in her state

Precious Ubani, a South-East Nigerian lady, has reacted to claims that the Igbo traditional wedding list is on the high side.

The Umu Ada's section had items like 300 tubers of yam, three fat cows, four ladies' machines, and three 25 litres of palm oil, amongst others.

At the tail end, it was suggested that the monetary equivalent of the list could be provided if the groom wishes to do so instead of providing all the items. The dowry was pegged at N1k. Precious' TikTok post caused quite a stir.
