A Nigerian couple decided to toe the line of simplicity as they graced their wedding occasion in a new Keke Napep tricycle.

Like normal wedding occasions, the groom wore a suit and the bride a white dress as they slew in the tricycle.

A Special Assistant to the Delta State Governor, Ossai Ovie Success who shared the story on Facebook said the groom, Mr Anointed Aboki, made use of Keke instead of borrowing a car.

Ossai stated that the couple's carriage left everyone amazed as it is uncommon in this generation.

Encomiums showered on the man's wife

Ossai added that the wife also deserves some praise for her understanding and not getting carried away by the opinion of people.

"...Everybody wants to borrow a car on the day of their wedding but this young man refuse to borrow a car.
"Thanks to the wife for her understanding and not being carried away with what people will say."

The incident was said to have happened at Oleh Isoko area of Delta State on Sunday, November 14.

Meanwhile, Legit.ng previously reported that a Nigerian couple had married inside their pastor's office wearing casual attires.

Jokotolajesu Oluwaseun David who shared the photos on Facebook group Life stated that the wedding occasion took place in Evangelical Church Winning All in Gombe state, Northern Nigeria.

Jokotolajesu, giving more details about the wedding, said there was no special cake for the occasion, special native wear called aso ebi as well as the reception.
