This is the case for a beautiful Nigerian lady who - together with her beau - turned their backs on the traditional look for a white wedding which sees the man in a black tux, and his bride, in a white dress.

In place of this unadventurous look, the couple opted for something more ethnic and intimate as regards their Igbo heritage.
Standing tall and regal was the bride in a ball dress made from Isi Agu, a traditional cloth not worn by many initially except those conferred with a chieftaincy title.
With her hair pulled back in a low ponytail, the bride donned an elaborate celestial headpiece.

Interestingly, the daring bride sported no bouquet. Instead, she followed the theme of her look and opted for a horsetail, a traditional wedding accessory.
Her groom also rocked matching outfits as he donned a two-piece Isiagu outfit and neck beads accessory.

The Isiagu is an African wear peculiar to the Igbo tribe. Everything from the texture to the lion head design is unique and it has got a lot of people falling in love with it.
A material not worn by many initially except those conferred with a chieftaincy title, the Isiagu - which means lion head - has grown quite popular on the fashion scene among the people of eastern Nigeria and beyond.
These days, more brides are rocking the Isiagu fabric in different styles for their big day and it is beautiful to see.

MTV's Are You the One? stars, Uche Nwosu and Clinton Moxam, tied the knot in a fairytale ceremony witnessed by their loved ones.
The celebrity couple met on season six of the MTV dating series and after a year of being engaged, sealed the deal on Saturday, September 4 in Chicago.
Her beau, Clinton opted for a tux from Vera Wang's line, giving him that simple but sleek look. And judging by how well put-together his locks wear, it is safe to say he did a little bit of pre-wedding grooming.
Uche, on the other hand, looked breathtaking in her bold choice of a Zuhair Murad gown.
