Celebrity Style Recreations: Lilian Afegbai's Dresses Replicated by Another Designer

Nollywood actress, Lilian Afegbai, was among those who attended Mo Abudu's 50th birthday party and weeks later, a fan has replicated the look.

Recall Abudu's Oriental-themed party saw guests turn up in Asian-inspired outfits and Afegbai's was one of those who shone brightly at the event.

Well, it took a while but a young lady copped the style and a photo of her own version has surfaced on social media.

Although she used a different colour and applique, the general idea of the design was strongly similar to that of the actress.

In the second post, she recreated Afegbai's Green October white dress.

Style recreation gone wrong

Nigerians on social media have reacted after a lady received a poorly recreated dress inspired by one of Mercy Aigbe's looks.

The original dress which was designed by CEO Luminee saw the Nollywood actress look elegant in the red ankara off-shoulder dress with ruffles.

While Aigbe made the ankara fashion trend list, a lady who commissioned her tailor to replicate the look did not exactly get what she ordered.
